The people who design your journeys and keep the trains running on time
Co-Founder & Route Designer
Former airline route planner who saw the light—or rather, saw too much from 30,000 feet and decided ground level was better. Eva designs our routes with obsessive attention to timing, connections, and the view from the left side of the train. Speaks German, English, and passable Italian learned entirely from dining car conversations.
Co-Founder & Sustainability Director
Spent years calculating carbon offsets for an airline before realizing the math didn't add up. Now calculates train schedules instead. Thomas handles our environmental commitments, partner relationships, and serves as walking encyclopedia of European rail trivia. Can identify most trains by their horn.
Customer Experience Lead
French-Swiss hospitality veteran who's been traveling by train since before night trains became trendy. Sophie ensures every journey runs smoothly, handles our 24/7 traveler support, and has an uncanny ability to fix problems before travelers know they exist. Based in Lyon, works from cafes near Gare de Lyon.
Italy & Mediterranean Routes Specialist
Former conductor on the Venice-Milan line, Marco knows every tunnel, viaduct, and good espresso stop between Cinque Terre and Sicily. He designs our Italian and coastal routes, maintains relationships with regional rail operators, and writes our Italian route documentation. Insists on proper coffee.
Northern Europe Routes & Logistics
Swedish-German logistics specialist who planned her first train journey at age seven and never stopped. Annika manages our Scandinavian and Baltic routes, handles complex multi-country bookings, and somehow always knows which platform the train will actually depart from. Lives in Stockholm, works wherever there's Wi-Fi and decent coffee.
Central & Eastern Europe Specialist
Hungarian-Austrian historian who fell in love with trains while researching the Orient Express. Lena designs our Central European routes, partners with heritage railways, and provides historical context for the landscapes our trains cross. Can give impromptu lectures on Habsburg railway architecture.
