Booking a slow transport journey is straightforward. We handle the complexity so you can focus on anticipation.
Email us at contact@dessertsweetcream.com or use our contact form. Tell us: when you want to travel, how long you have, what interests you, any special requirements. Don't worry about having everything figured out—that's our job.
We'll schedule a video call (or phone call, or email exchange—whatever works) to discuss your preferences in detail. This usually takes 30-45 minutes. We're learning what kind of traveler you are so we can design the right journey.
Within 5-7 days, we'll send a complete proposed itinerary including: route details, train schedules, accommodation options, estimated costs, and our recommendations. This is a starting point—we expect you'll want adjustments.
We revise the itinerary based on your feedback. Want more time in Venice? Prefer a different hotel in Vienna? Interested in adding a side trip? We adjust until it's right. Most itineraries go through 2-3 revisions.
Once you approve the final itinerary, we book everything and send confirmation. Payment schedule: 30% deposit to secure bookings, remaining 70% due 60 days before departure. We accept bank transfers and major credit cards.
Two weeks before departure, we send complete journey documentation: all tickets, hotel confirmations, detailed route guide, emergency contacts, and our pre-trip checklist. You're ready to go.
